My name is Salvador, but around here everyone calls me Toto. I rent out boats in the Bay of Roses with my team, and this page is about who we are and how we like to get out on the water.

The sea runs in the family

My name is Salvador Vidal — “Toto”. I grew up in a coastal village in the Castellón region with the sea on my doorstep, and sailing goes back generations: my grandfather was a Merchant Navy captain who spent his life crossing the world by sea. I ended up a qualified yacht captain, with a lot of hours on the water behind me.

I wasn't born in Roses, and I won't pretend otherwise: what I know about this coast I've learned season after season, sailing the bay and Cap de Creus almost daily. When I'm not on the boat I'm still on the water — kitesurfing, surfing, jet skiing — and in winter, up in the mountains. Behind me is the founding team of Experience Boat, who make sure our 8 boats leave the Marina de Santa Margarita ready every single day.

Boats ready, always

Eight boats of our own that we service ourselves: motorboats, Zodiac-style inflatables and no-licence boats. If something isn't right, that boat doesn't go out — simple as that.

The sea calls the shots

Every boat carries approved safety gear, and before each departure we check the wind. In a strong tramuntana we'd rather move your date than have you spend a rough day on the water.

Every group is different

First time on a boat? We talk you through it calmly on the pontoon. Private excursion? The route adapts to your group, not the other way round. Going out with us should be easy from start to finish.
