What licence do I need?
For the boats in our licensed fleet you need at least a PNB (Basic Navigation Skipper) certificate or an equivalent. If you’re not sure whether your qualification counts, ask us before booking — we’ll confirm it within 24 hours.
How many people fit?
It depends on the boat. Check each boat’s card for the exact capacity and length. We have boats for anywhere from 4 to 8 people.

How far ahead should I book?
In high season (July and August) we’d book at least two weeks ahead. In the shoulder season, 48–72 hours is usually enough.

If you hold a licence but would rather someone else handle the boat so you can just enjoy the day, that’s an option too. These trips leave from the same Santa Margarita canals.

Frequently asked questions about boat rental with licence in Roses
As a general rule, for boats up to 8 metres and an inboard or outboard motor, the Basic Navigation Skipper (PNB) licence or equivalent is sufficient. If you hold a foreign licence, get in touch before booking and we will confirm it is valid.
